The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has announced its findings related to its first Co-creation Workshop. Also, there were some recommendations from the Workshop included. THE UKGC Workshop spent time gathering feedback from marketing leaders and then forwarding it to the commission. The marketing leaders reacted to new UK advertising requirements related to promotions, terms-&-conditions, and customer interactions.
The UK Gambling Commission admitted that this year was rather hard for marketing teams because of the ongoing advertising ban on sports broadcasts. In their attempt to illuminate others, UK marketing agency INDICIA present guidance on “developing successful, non-gambling customer-centric advertising campaigns.” On the other hand, the UK consumer research group 2CV published their study “How Gambling Fits into People’s Lives.”
The UKGC will maintain its Marketing Workshop event next year too.
