Yggdrasil strikes a content deal with Casino Gran Madrid

partners

Yggdrasil has signed an agreement with the Spanish online gambling operator, Casino Gran Madrid. One of the industry’s most respected suppliers thus continues its rapid expansion and bolsters its position in one of the key territories.

Casino Gran Madrid will receive more than just games

Under the agreement, the Spanish provider will gain access to Yggdrasil’s extensive portfolio of casino slots, including the successful Vikings series and the latest releases Dr Fortuno, which features a dark haunting circus theme, and Dwarf Mine with a lot of shiny gems.
However, that is not all. As a part of the new deal, Casino Gran Madrid will also be able to benefit from Yggdrasil’s BOOST® platform, a collection of proprietary in-game promotional tools that will help them enhance player engagement and retention.

Daniel Ledesma, Online & Slots Director at Casino Gran Madrid is very pleased with the new partnership. He stated:

“Yggdrasil has a reputation for creating some of the best games in the market, and we are thrilled to be offering them to our customers. As they look to expand in Spain, we look forward to helping them grow with a long and successful partnership.”

Yggdrasil continues to expand and conquer new territories

The acclaimed game developer has been steadily growing in the recent years and gaining new customers across a number of regulated markets. Securing this new partnership is an important step in strengthening their position.

Frederik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil, commented:

“We are delighted to have agreed a deal with Casino Gran Madrid, who are one of the most well-known and prestigious operators in the regulated Spanish market. We are in the process of expanding our presence in Spain and today’s announcement is another positive step for us in the country.”

The expansion is not only geographical

The game developer recognizes there is strength in partnership and has launched a semi-open platform for curating, developing and distributing content from the world’s leading independent game studios. They call it Yggdrasil Game Server (YGS) Masters and have signed on six developers so far, among them AvatarUX, 4ThePlayer, Fantasma, Rabcat, Northern Lights and the latest member, Dreamtech Gaming.

The aim of the programme is to combine their respective areas of expertise to create the best games and deliver them to wide audience.

The first game resulting from this cooperation is expected to be introduced in the second quarter of 2019 under the title Niagara Falls.
