Schumacher Junior in his first official outing in F1 machinery is participating in the post-Bahrain Grand Prix test session at Sakhir Circuit.
The young man from German, who has been assigned up to the famous Ferrari Driver Academy, dressed in the favorite themes of red for the first time, will switch from testing duties to Alfa Romeo on Wednesday this week.
The chance that is the first F1 official test of the season indicates an opportunity for the starlet to make another step in his hunt of following in his legendary dad’s footsteps.
Schumacher Senior, who is recognized by people as the most flourishing driver in F1 history, is best remembered for winning five successive titles with Ferrari, in addition to the two he earlier scooped in Benetton.
He won a record of 91 Grands Prix in 2006, the much-loved racer, who called time on his Ferrari career and also before retiring from the sport seven years ago. However, he had not appeared in public after an accident that left him in a coma which followed suffering from a distressing brain injury gotten while skiing during a trip in December 2013.
