Bitcoin is performing as one of the hottest currencies in the world. The said cryptocurrency has managed to breach the highest mark of $50000 on Sunday. The mainstream companies are jumping to the bandwagon of crypto. As per the reports, Apple Pay users can now also spend bitcoins using the native app.
As per the report, it is claiming that bitcoins and various other popular cryptocurrencies can now be used for payment through the Apple Pay app. An app called BitPay also allows users to buy bitcoins and utilize the prepaid MasterCard of Apple Pay. The BitPay wallet can now be added to both Apple Pay and Apple Wallet.
The BitPay wallet app is also going to work with other cryptocurrencies like Ether, Bitcoin Cash, and with USD coin, Paxos Standard, and Binance USD, which are working as dollar-pegged stable coins.
As per the description of the application on Google Play Store, any of the users can apply for BitPay Card to begin spending on crypto instantly. It is claiming for approval, which is taking seconds, and the virtual card is going to be available for immediate online usage. The users are also going to get a physical card, which after few weeks, enables users to convert their crypto in cash at ATMs or to spend at any of the retail stores. It is, however, only going to be available in the United States.
The BitPay app is also anticipated to roll-out support on prominent payment applications like Google Pay and Samsung Pay. It is going to allow a large number of Android users to gain access to the service of the app.
