Dallas Cowboys started the training camp on Thursday afternoon in Southern California. Running back Ezekiel Elliott was not in the team. However, this was not a compulsory physical evaluation like the Friday morning training, which all team members have to attend.
Teammates said that they wouldn’t begrudge the Pro Bowl running back even if he will miss on Friday.
Frederick, who is the highest-paid center in the league, said that he holds no antipathy to anyone getting his business done and protecting themselves and their family.
Cowboys decided to extend Elliott fifth-year option in April. The rushing defender is to earn $3.85 million in base salary this season and $9 million the next.
Elliot was the fourth overall pick in 2016 draft. He has the best record in league rushing yards per game. He has carried the ball 868 times for 4,048 yards and 28 touchdowns in 40 games. In 2017, misfortunate started following him; he was suspended for six games due to violation of league personal policy.
