NBA: Curry’s Brothers to face one Another in Western Conference Finals

Two brothers Stephen and Seth Curry got into a tussle at Charlotte Christian School practice. The coach approached their father Dell Curry who said that it was not a big deal since brothers push each other.

On Tuesday night, the two brothers will be meeting in the NBA Western Conference Finals in Oakland. Stephen plays for Golden State Warriors and Seth for Portland Trail Blazers Reserve. It will be the first time the two will play in opposing teams with something at stake. Dell got nervous when Portland won on Sunday, the two will be going against each other, and someone is going to loss, and the other is going to NBA finals.

Different Routes

The two brothers had different routes into the NBA. Stephen’s journey was quick and swift. In 2009, he was the seventh overall pick. He was NBA most valuable player twice and was central to three championship teams.

On the other hand, Seth went to Liberty before transferring to Duke. Due to injury, he was not selected in the 2013 draft due to injury. He had to work up through –League and ten day NBA contract before getting a multi-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

Traveling to Oakland

Dell and wife Sonya will be at Oakland on Sunday night. The two will support both the teams. They will be wearing both Warriors and Blazers gears. Dell said that the two brothers help each other; they watch each other game and offer each other advice. But for now, they have to forget all that and play their level best.
