New Shirt Sponsorship Deal Between Betfred and LaLiga’s Mallorca

Betfred has snagged a great shirt sponsorship deal with LaLiga’s the Spanish football club in Mallorca. The bookmaker is now the club’s principal sponsor for two seasons — 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

As expected Betfred’s logo will be emblazoned on the front of RCD Mallorca players’ shirts. In addition, branding will appear with prominence in the team’s home stadium in San Moix on their website.

According to RCD Mallorca Chief Executive, Maheta Molango, all the officials are thrilled to have Betfred utilize the team as a vehicle to achieve its strategy of international expansion.

“In addition to this, we recognize our goals and this is also a strategic partnership for RCD Mallorca within an important context of the British, Spanish and international markets.”

Fred Done, co-owner of Betfred is equally pleased at the arrangement, the first partnership it has made outside of the UK.

“The deal to be the principal partner of the Spanish club is one we believe will assist our planned expansion both in Spain and internationally.”

Sportradar was involved in the deal since Betfred is a client of its sports and betting data business.

Hampus Lofkvist, Director for Global Sponsorship said:

In recent Betfred news, it as just obtained a new license in Spain to offer an online sportsbook and casino. It fully intends to launch a promising expansion strategy that eventually will move into the U.S.
