Newcastle In Talks To Sign Brazilian Striker

football

Newcastle United are reportedly currently involved in talks to sign Brazilian striker Joelinton from Hoffenheim. The Bundesliga club left the player out of their pre-season plans which has prompted speculation that he is soon set to become a Magpie.

Joelinton scored several Bundesliga goals last season from 26 appearances. Newcastle recently appointed Steve Bruce as their manager on a three year deal.

The Magpies are currently in a troubled situation. They have so far seen the departures of Ayoze Perez and Salomon Rondon, arguably two of the club’s best players last season while Martin Dubravka and Sean Longstaff have been linked with moves away from St James Park.
