Nick Bosa, San Francisco 49ers first-round pick got an ankle injury during Tuesday practice. He went out of the field after the trainer confirmed the injury.
Bosa was caught up in a group of players on a running play. He stayed in the field for several minutes before he was accompanied out by two trainers. Defensive coordinator Robert Saleh said that there was nothing to worry. He seems to indicate that the injury was not severe.
However, there is a good reason for the team to worry about the No.2 overall pick as he undergoes MRI for the injured ankle. Previously, Bosa had a hamstring injury which prevented him from joining the offseason program. He had to undergo major surgery to repair damaged muscle.
The top NFL draft defensive player has raised a red flag as to whether he can remain healthy. For now, injuries are an issue to him.
