The Racing industry Transition Agency (RITA) in New Zealand has announced that it is running a recruitment drive to find a new CEO for TAB NZ following the conclusion racing reforms.
Caldwell Partners, an executive recruitment specialist has been contracted to oversee the process. Its brief is to find a candidate with proven experience. The new CEO is expected to take the place of John Allen, who stated that he would resign towards the end of last year. In the meantime, RITA chair will step in until a new CEO is found.
RITA is expected to transition into TAB NZ in June of 2020, which is when a 2019 bill will come into play. Once the bill is operational, the operator will be the only one allowed to provide racing and betting services in New Zealand.
