The sponsorship of the EuroJapan Cup by the Galaxy Entertainment Group is a two-year deal offered by the Hong Kong hospitality and gaming corporation.
According to Ted Chan, COO of Galaxy Entertainment Japan,
“We are very excited to be bringing the Galaxy Entertainment EuroJapan Cup to Japan for the first time this summer. GEG will continue to support a wide variety of sports and cultural events by bringing the world’s best entertainment to Japan, while helping to raise Japan’s profile across the world.”
Chan hopes the sponsorship will support the development of soccer in his country and make a contribution to local communities. The deal should inspire football players and fans for generations throughout Japan. Sports participation activities are a noble goal of GEG along with the proposed outreach events such as football clinics involving top world stars.
