Spurs have seen their £64.5million (€70m) bid for Paulo Dybala accepted by Juventus, according to Sky Italia.
Mauricio Pochettino is looking to strengthen his attacking ranks ahead of the new campaign and they are hoping to take advantage of Manchester United’s failure to capture Dybala.
United were in pole position to sign the Argentine but could not reach an agreement with his camp.
But now the ball is in Dybala’s court as he must decide whether to stay in Turin or join Tottenham.
Juventus themselves are ready to sell Dybala for capital gain.
