The Stars Group (TSG), a renowned gambling operator, has announced that there will be some changes at the Isle of Man (IOM) after its “not so great” results in international market.
The company announced that there will be some staff changes and that number of employees will be released from TSG’s payroll. IOM office employs around 400 individuals. TDG insisted on this because they needed to “ensure long-term sustainable growth” (as company spokesman said). It may really be so, since company’s financial report actually showed poor results in several international markets, including Russia, Switzerland and Norway.
While sending sympathies to those employees who will lose their job at the company, TSG stated that the layoffs would have “little foreseeable impact on our overall operations” in the IOM.
